Outline important things you want to say in networking:

1. What position you are looking for
   • Try to keep it to 30 seconds
2. What your background is and why you are perfect for that position
   • Set a goal of keeping this to 60 seconds
3. Have prepared an outline of accomplishments and skills that will help you succeed in this job.  If your networking conversations go more in depth, these talking points about your skills and accomplishments are helpful in making sure you let them know all you can do and have done.
